I have an infinite love for the Australian landscape, particularly the Wilderness of Tasmania. Prior to moving here from the Queensland in 2015, I painted the colourful, abundant bird life of the subtropical rain forests. My hope is to inspire protection of these stunning areas and creatures. I also enjoy capturing the personalities of people’s “fur babies” and have received many commissions. My works are in collections in Australia, NZ, USA and UK.
After realising my life's dream by graduating from Griffith University Qld with - B of Visual Arts/Interior Design, I developed my technique as a Contemporary Impressionist. This allows me the freedom to interpret what I see with a lively personal approach. I fill the canvas with vibrant light and colour. The craggy peaks and waterfalls of Cradle Mountain, the expansive beaches and the colourful sunsets of Tasmania excite my creativity.
With my love of animals and art I capture these creature's characters and expressions in a quirky, colourful style, incorporating their humour, their majesty and wonder, and as a result, the painting then tells its own story.
These works are created with unique Australian-made Artist Quality oils and acrylics which resist cracking and fading for generations to come.
