Artwork Description

I love dancing during the 9 days of celebration for Navratri that usually come up around October every year! Garba is the native dance for this festival and is celebrated widely in India during the 9 nights of Navratri.

Artist Bio

Drawing has been a passion, a hobby for me since I was younger than now. I've learnt drawing during my school years in India. I've learnt glass painting, sketching, clay modelling and a few arty bits during school holidays.
I still wonder why art was not on my career path even when it was my subject of interest. I've done engineering - graduated in Electronics and carried on to do my post grad in Computers. We had 'engineering drawing' as a subject that I graded too well on. However, I still recall sketching baby pictures from some magazine while waiting for my post grad classes in Philadelphia more than a decade ago.

I'm very much pursuing my career as an Engineer... but in the past couple years I have taken a few more drawing and painting classes and love what I can create with Acrylics on paper/ canvas or even MDF boards.
I love creating ... gives me immense peace and pleasure ... Just enjoy it...
