Three crazy weeks into the Canadian trip and I have finally made it to the beautiful town of Revelstoke. The town is surrounded by ominous beauty that draws on your curiosity and desire to be amongst nature. Yet despite all this, the feeling is of being here is strange as I was supposed to arrive with my travel buddy Morgan. She unfortunately broke her collar bone on our first day on the slopes and had to go back to Australia before we'd even made it to our final destination. My hat goes off to that brave girl who managed to keep a smile through everything. She'll be back and more determined than ever, and I cannot wait.
