This title of this piece is about familiarity - the grammar is a play on that... it's comfort, alone together. I've melded bold colour with the simplicity of Minimalism. Strong lines and vivid contrasts breathe life into the figures, while the interplay of mediums create a richness that is tangible even from a distance. The space speaks to the disconnect of being lost in each others company.

Part of my ‘Alone Together’ series, these paintings are urban pop art meets life drawings and a sprinkle of surrealism. I’m fascinated with the conversation between architecture and personal introspection. I’m preserving the observational element from the core of my work with markers and loose brushwork and fusing them with thick layers of colour in satin/semi-gloss.

Offering my work unstretched keeps the costs down for my collectors, making very large scale work more affordable and safer to transport.
