There is just something about the ocean and beaches isn't there?. They tend to calm us and excite us at the same time! And we love to convey that feeling through this original painting:
This piece is an endless discovery of patterns and interest with layers of colour creating a depth through Pete's signature Mosaic Method! "Beauty & the Beach" is a contrast of tonal metallic hues of blue ,and frothy white and soft beige, champagnes, creams and sand colours creating an impressionistic view of a sandy beach.. .. we love that our beach paintings evoke different memories for each person.
The metallic blues and inlays of lines of gold, rose gold and white gold glisten like light dancing on the water as it flows over the sandy beach. we have added a few cheeky hints of purple on the beach for a sense of movement.,,
The energy of the artwork in person* is far more impactful than what you see on the screen. It's vibrancy and motion will easily lift a room (and your spirits!)!!!
