COLOURS
We try to match what we see on our monitor to the painting but all monitors are different so the colours tones and hues you see may not be true to the original. Also our paintings can be difficult to photograph because they are so vibrant that the depths and breadths of the colours change depending on the amount of light. There is just something about the ocean and beaches isn't there?. They tend to calm us and excite us at the same time! And we love to convey that feeling through this original painting:
This piece is an endless discovery of patterns and interest with layers of colour creating a depth through Pete's signature Mosaic Method! "Coastal Dreams" is a contrast of tonal metallic hues of blue ,and frothy white and soft beige, creams and sand colours creating an impressionistic view of a sandy beach of a tropical beach...
The metallic blues and inlays of lines of gold, rose gold and white gold glisten like light dancing on the water as it flows over the sandy beach. The colours change depending on the light so if you are trying to match a colour, contact us so we can give you some colour comparisons.
The energy of the artwork in person* is far more impactful than what you see on the screen. It's vibrancy and motion will easily lift a room (and your spirits!)!!!
