We try to match what we see on our monitor to the painting but all monitors are different so the colours tones and hues you see may not be true to the original. Also our paintings can be difficult to photograph because they are so vibrant that the depths and breadths of the colours change depending on the amount of light. This piece is an endless discovery of patterns and interest with layers of colour creating a depth through Pete's signature Mosaic Method! is a contrast of tonal metallic teal and metallic aquamarine colours creating across between an impressionistic and an abstract realism view of a sandy beach of a tropical beach...
The metallic greens and inlays of lines of gold, rose gold and white gold glisten like light dancing on the water as it flows over the sandy beach. It has that magical feel of an opal - almost feels alive!!
Depending on the light, our paintings change personality so it is hard to capture them exactly plus monitors may show colours differently so if exact hues and shades are important to you,please contact us.
