Artwork Description

Hot Summer's Night is an alliterative title based on the late '70s hit of that name. There are various ways to read the strong graphic composition of this image. The incompleteness of the four spheres allows the viewer to imagine beyond the frame while the 'coordinating' central sphere as a three dimensional objects binds the planar elements in a colour palette consistent with the era.
