Peter Francisco, a Filipino-born artist based in Adelaide, specializes in watercolors and oil painting. His work intertwines his personal connection to his cultural heritage with his experiences as an immigrant in Australia. Exhibited across Australia and held in private collections worldwide, his art offers a rich exploration of cultural identity.
Peter has pursued extensive studies, including workshops at the Adelaide Central School of Art and classes with renowned international artists. His talent was notably recognized in 2022 when he won first prize at the Royal Adelaide Art Show for a watercolor portrait of a T’boli girl.
Balancing a full-time career in cybersecurity, Peter dedicates his spare time to painting, driven by a deep passion for depicting Filipino culture.

The nostalgia and longing for my roots fuel my creative process, driving me to explore and celebrate the essence of my past. I specialise in watercolor portraiture and oil still life, dedicating myself to capturing the intricate details, textures, and patterns that evoke and preserve my cherished memories.
