This painting is one of a series inspired by a cycle ride on a Saturday morning in summer when I came across this scene at a local park. It is a typical Australian summer scene. In this painting I captured a moment when a batsman was caught out. I included local spectators watching the match. I painted in my naive style and highlighted the contrast of the greens and whites.
