Artwork Description

This painting represents my memory of the neighbourhood where I grew up. It shows the neighbourhood bottle shop , the Butcher and the local Deli. It shows where I learned to play this game called footy and the streets where we mucked around. I painted it in my naive style.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.
