Artwork Description

Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

I created this painting of a cityscape of old Fremantle looking down from the Fremantle Port Authority lookout. I wanted to create a feeling of the old port. I love the architecture of the buildings and streets and the Norfolk pine trees in the distance. I painted this in my simple , naive style. I think I was able to capture the feeling of the old port.

A painting showing a game of cricket in a park on a summer day. The painting shows spectators watching and the game in action. A beach summer scene showing the sea, sky, people and activity at the beach . This painting is one in a series based on the Australian beach in the summertime.
I painted sunbathers, lifesavers, swimmers and surfers on the beach. I wanted to capture the bright colours and the contrast with the blue of the sea and sky and the white sand. It is a colourful, bright and happy Australian scene.A Jazz band playing in the street outside a coffee shop on a Sunday morning.
