Artwork Description

This is the third painting I have completed inspired by a peaceful scene I saw while cycling on a summer day. The combination of the cricket players in their white uniforms, the spectators and the green field moved me to paint this painting. It is a peaceful scene that would calm and relax the viewer.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others.
