Artwork Description

Watching reticulation sprinklers in my garden I could see patterns made by the water droplets. I thought about the patterns and the contrast with the green grass and tried to capture that in this painting. It is a cooling and calm painting painted in my simple naive style.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive.
