Summertime #2

This is the second of a series I painted on a theme of summertime. I painted a beach scene showing the colours of summer, the blue sea , sky and white sand. I tried to capture the people and activity on the beach to produce a bright, happy summer scene.

I am largely a self taught artist. Drawing and Painting have followed me through my life. I am influenced by Hockney, Matisse, Katz and Uta Wohlfarth amongst others. I hope to get as many of my paintings on walls as I can. I paint places, things and people around me and images my mind captures. My style is simplistic and naive. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.
