I was born on the family farm in the Hawkesbury River Valley. After many years of working on the farm, I did a trade course as a carpenter and worked in various industries.
I began painting in 2010 as a hobby. My passion for painting is drawn from hard working people from the farmlands and the Australian outback life. It is my aim to express their stories through my painting. My paintings are something I am very proud of and I get a great sense of satisfaction when people are able to relate their own or others life experiences to them.
I draw inspiration from the Australian Impressionists and the likes of Darcy Doyle, Pro-Hart and Hans Heyson.
Using oil paints, I primarily paint on board.
