Just a 40 minute drive from Hobart, Dodges Ferry is a favourite destination for locals and visitors alike. There are beaches for swimming and surfing, cliff and beach walks. The soft light on this early morning walk, together with the still water and rocky shore were a painting inspiration.

Oil painting on board. Painted with a palette knife for texture. There is some brush work to soften the painting for the early light effect.
