This very simple painting is one of my all time favourites! The light and shade in the painting together with the bold brush strokes provide for an incredible work of art. The painting has been professionally framed and measures (W) 48cm (H) 58cm (D) 3cm.

I started painting in my high school years and enjoyed the experience, successfully passing my Art exams. My working career has been in the world of finance and I spent 37 years with one of the "big 4" Australian banks (don't hold this against me!). Photography has always been a passion, too. About 10 years ago I decided to get back into the world of Art, not just as a collector but as an artist. I've really enjoyed the transition back into the art world. Creating works of art is so much more fun than the world of finance!
I'm a member of the Fremantle Arts Centre and paint both at the Centre and in my home studio. I paint in an impressionist style with both acrylics and pastels, and shamelessly love colour and bold brush strokes!
