I started painting in my high school years and enjoyed the experience, successfully passing my Art exams. My working career has been in the world of finance and I spent 37 years with one of the "big 4" Australian banks (don't hold this against me!). Photography has always been a passion, too. About 10 years ago I decided to get back into the world of Art, not just as a collector but as an artist. I've really enjoyed the transition back into the art world. Creating works of art is so much more fun than the world of finance!
I'm a member of the Fremantle Arts Centre and paint both at the Centre and in my home studio. I paint in an impressionist style with both acrylics and pastels, and shamelessly love colour and bold brush strokes!
