Peter Tankey’s artworks primarily focus on the still life genre, making meticulously rendered hyper-realistic oil paintings.

His work is comprised largely of non-conventional still life paintings, constructing unusual scenes that suggest a narrative through the juxtaposition of unrelated objects.

Winner of the still life category in the 2022 Bluethumb art prize and shortlisted for several major prizes, his work appears in private, government and corporate collections (nationally and internationally).
