Peter Wallfried was born in Hamburg, Germany but has been living in South Australia since he was 5. He paints realistic landscapes using acrylics . Recently a more Pop art element has appeared in his work, especially in his paintings of street scenes and cityscapes. Peter has had 7 solo and 4 group exhibitions which include a series of paintings along Goyder’s Line and painting all the ports along the coast . His exhibition of the Pinery fires in 2016 received considerable media attention. His most recent exhibition featured a series of nocturne paintings with a Pop Art influence.
