I'm inspired by impressionist techniques and the effect of unexpected hues. Working mainly in pastels, I have also experimented with charcoal and pencil on cotton fabric (calico).
Sydney's Northern Beaches form the backdrop of my childhood‚ but now I live in the Blue Mountains with my wife and children. We homeschool and currently have an increasing menagerie of pets including chickens, cats, budgies and a rabbit.
