Inspired by many walks in the National Parks around Sydney. The painting was based on a photo taken to advertise Sydney Water. The painting inspires a peaceful mood, and brightens a dull corner of a room without being gaudy or overly bright.
It is A2 in size and frames to suit your taste and decor are readily available and inexpensive. This frame will be supplied.

Phil has devoted much of his retired life to painting the natural landscapes and seascapes that he values, appreciates and admires in his local environment at Pearl Beach NSW. He is a prolific painter believing that skills are acquired through practice as well as research. He has studied the techniques of many established and emerging landscape artists, across the globe. Electronic video media has been a welcome source of teaching and inspiration. Phil has experimented with a wide range of techniques and has developed a unique style that could be described as a blend of realism and primitive art. He uses acrylic and oil paints on canvas and board.
