Artwork Description

This original black cockatoo oil painting captures the quiet beauty of the Australian bush, featuring a striking yellow-tailed black cockatoo perched gracefully among native flora. Set against a soft, sunlit landscape, the composition highlights the bird’s intricate feather detail and calm, watchful presence, creating a sense of connection to nature and the Australian environment.

Painted in a distinctive, expressive brushstroke style, the artwork reveals rich texture and depth throughout the canvas. The layered tones of earthy greens, warm ochres, and soft light bring the surrounding bushland to life, while the detailed rendering of the cockatoo adds a strong focal point with both realism and artistic character.
