Octopus Garden

Red can always be a dangerous colour to play with as it does attract a lot of attention but I find when complimented with hues of blue and green, it becomes magnificent. Red is also a very stimulating colour, it energises, strengthens and brings strong emotions. Perfect for a space that “needs something” to bring it to life.

Can you see the octopus? Some search and cannot find but some see it very obviously.

Also a reference to the song about a life of tranquility under the sea rather than the chaos of days above ground.

I’m a multimedia artist. I use watercolour, oil and acrylic pouring. TydleWaive is my psychedelic artist name which incorporates acrylic pouring and sometimes oil. My process stems from emotions. I begin with an emotion and than create a physical representation of it using metallic and neon colours to set the scene.

Bit about me, I’m 27 years old and I just moved to the Sunshine Coast hinterlands from Brisbane and grew up on a farm near a town called Cambooya in Queensland. I currently work mornings as a cleaner and afternoons painting.

I am mostly self taught but also have participated in summer schools at McGregor in Toowoomba for watercolour and oils.
