Artwork Description

Breathe in and feel the pleasure of the air filling you with inspiration and energy,
Release the heaviness and the dark strangling restrictions of the past.
Free your mind and allow the life force within and around you to mingle.

In Radiance Blue, I explored the intertwining nature of the breath and the deep connection between us as we inspire one another to become more radiant. This piece reflects my constant striving to help others in my therapeutic work as a psychologist, and myself heal the wounds of the past and find inner strength.

Artist Bio

Popi Iatrou is an artist and senior psychologist, blending her background in psychology with her passion for creativity to explore themes of healing, transformation, and self-discovery. Drawing inspiration from her Greek heritage and a deep connection to the land and sea, Popi’s work reflects the interplay between inner and outer landscapes. Her art, often intuitive and channelled, invites viewers to explore the depths of the subconscious and embrace their journey of growth.

With a career spanning over two decades in psychology, Popi uses her understanding of the human psyche to create art that promotes emotional release and healing. She has authored and illustrated several publications, including The Art of Wellness Toolkit and Tides of Change Guided Journal, which merge psychology and creativity for personal empowerment.

Popi’s work encourages viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of all things, with a particular focus on how the land and nature shape the human spirit. Through her vibrant and transformative pieces, she offers a powerful invitation to connect with the self and the world around us.
