With an Art teacher for a mother, Poppy was obsessed with art for as long as she can remember, Some of her fondest childhood memories are of wandering around the Tate Gallery for hours and obsessively collecting modern art postcards. When she graduated from her degree in History of Art & Design (Manchester, England), Poppy's first job was in an Art Gallery in St. James', London. Working mainly with acrylics on canvas, Poppy brings a European flair to her work. Her unique style uses clean lines and graphic elements, juxtaposed with large, intuitive strokes. Always seeking for contrast with colour, texture and technique, her work is a fun filled pop of colour that oozes positive vibes.
