A stylish passenger at Whitfords train station in Perth, who I thought looked a bit like Stevie Nicks. A moody monochrome blend of acrylic, charcoal, and white chalk.

Artist Bio

MATT WILLIAMS, a contemporary artist based in Perth, Western Australia, completed his Bachelor of Fine Art at Curtin University in 2020, after an initial background as a graphic designer (Certificate of Graphic Design and Commercial Art, Perth Technical College 1988). Themes that inform and inspire his art work include the human figure, literary/religious/historical concepts, the Thylacine/Tasmanian Tiger, science- fiction and cryptozoology. He also produces regular cartoons, comic strips and caricatures.

Matt is also a professional musician - performing and teaching vocals and guitar, has a keen interest in exercise, the ocean, and enjoys watching movies and catching up with friends.
