Artwork Description

“We think of ourselves as humans searching for a spiritual awakening, when in fact we are spiritual beings attempting to cope with a human awakening. Seeing ourselves from the perspective of the spirit within will help you to remember why you came here and what you came here to do.” Anonymous

For the artist moment of awakening was when she could say to the world that she is an artist with full conviction.

Awakening means suddenly becoming aware of something.

It sounds funny but it is a fact that a lot of you are still in that darkness where you actually have the quality or so called “Talent” but you are absolutely not aware of it. In fact you have been lying to yourself that you are not good at something or that you don’t have that talent at all. What we often forget is we as humans, we inherently have that power of mind, the power of our genes, the power of our persistence, the conviction. That is one thing no-one can take away from us.

“The reason people awaken is because they have finally stopped agreeing to things that insult their soul.” Anonymous

Our current mainstream education system tries to suppress that moment of awakening and tries to keep you busy with the fixed structure, format, syllabus where your whole time and effort are engaged in things which drive you towards a path of producing industrial workers. These so called traditional systems are designed to kill your true calling, to ignore that awareness.

Through this piece of art, artist wants to help the viewer to discover their potential, their liking, their dreams.

This artwork comes from a deep place in Artist‘s heart and mind where she became aware of what she has and what she wants to do in her life. The moment when she believed that she has all the power to do that. Her practice of yoga and meditation helped her take that leap tremendously and she believes that it’s not just one moment but thousands of such a moments of awakening in your life.

“We are ready to awaken when we don’t have any more doubts or any more questions about who we are.” Roxana Jones

Step into the enchanting world of Priya Gore, where the extraordinary comes to life on canvas through animated depictions of birds and wildlife. Her paintings are a breathtaking symphony of color, vibrating with energy. Priya’s process of painting is like a joyous dance, each lyrical movement breathes life into the birds that are often the subject of her art.

Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of the Australian wilderness, from tropical rainforests to diverse wildlife, Priya's heart carries the love for her homeland. As a slow-madic artist, she travels the globe with her family, viewing each journey as a source of inspiration. For Priya, the exploration of new cultures, art, history, and forging genuine connections with people enriches her artistic practice.

Believing that global unity, empathy, and peace are vital lessons, Priya sees her travels and varied residencies as integral to her daughter's education. Recent months spent on the islands of Bali and Java have left an indelible mark on her mind and soul, influencing the art that is unfolding from her easel.

Using the highest quality acrylic paints on premium canvas, Priya ensures the archival quality of her original paintings. When you gaze upon Priya Gore's magnificent creations, you can almost envision her before the canvas—brush in hand, applying each stroke with a graceful, flowing gesture, infusing her art with A Dash of Wilderness.

In 2023, Priya achieved recognition as a finalist in the David Shephard Wildlife Foundation's Wildlife Artist of the Year competition.
