Banana trees are a wonderful thing, oh so tropical, and their huge smooth leaves are like flags that make a wonderful almost clapping sound in the wind. I love a suburban backyard banana tree too, it's almost comical, a one tree banana farmer over the fence with a little bunch of bananas that never seem to ripen.
