So Wrong It's Right by Prue Frost. I had just snapped a pic of the most incredible King Protea, and was fixated on it's form - soft yet spiky, abstract flannel petals shooting this way and that, then what looked like a matchstick house unfolding in the centre. So unusual. Resilient. So beautiful. I wanted to keep this painting as raw, abstract, layered and reminiscent of that quirky form as possible.
