A Canberra View

I have lived in Canberra for many years and have seen it grow and change. This is an iconic view of the city showing one of the old Spanish style buildings with newer towers behind.

I like to paint what I see and experience in my daily life - from small snippets to large vistas. The streets and bushland near me are my inspiration. I enjoy being an artist and aim to convey that joy to others. Although I work with a variety of media, I love the plasticity of oil and acrylic paint, using multiple layers to achieve colour, texture and depth.
