With climate change in mind, I created a small abstract painting titled Wildfire. It is alive with movement, evoking the fierce, consuming energy of flame. Varied red tones - crimson, scarlet, and vermilion - sweep across the surface in layered gestures and shapes, mimicking the erratic path of fire across a once-green landscape. Highlights of white with soft blues and pinks flicker throughout, suggesting sparks, ash, or moments of light within the blaze. The composition pulses with intensity, capturing both the beauty and devastation of wildfire in a raw, emotive visual language.
