The sea was so still the day I walked out. Seeing the sky and water mirror each other looked amazing‚ contrasted against the rocks.

"Firstly, looking at the talent, qualifications and accolades the other artists have received is really humbling. I don't have any of these and painting is my hobby (which I am very passionate about!!) I took up art as an interest when I lived in New York for a few years doing vocational classes. I really liked it and my friends have encouraged me to keep it going. A bit about my background... I have a very positive outlook in life and my friend's tell me I am down to earth. So feel free to leave comments (positive or negative), I won't be offended at all. Inspirations... I love nature. You will see many of the landscape paintings focus on areas you might recognize in the United States and New Zealand. I am also experimenting with contemporary paintings that I hope to share with you soon. Aspirations... I hope to complete an MFA in the near future and move to becoming a full time artist. "
