Artwork Description

It was a very hot day at noon. In Harley Park, many people were hiding in the water to escape the heat. I sat in the pavilion, avoiding the direct sunlight, and enjoying the lively and beautiful scene in front of me. From time to time, large shadows pass by on the ground, when you look up, you will see Pelicans flying very gracefully.
At 1:27, the pelicans huddled together consciously, shaking their spines, raising their massive pink bill
high, and looking around at the people watching them. At 1:30, it’s time for feeding, and what happens next is what’s on the paper.

Artist Bio

I am a full-time landscape architect, who enjoys to record the things around me through painting. My paintings are full of life and rich in stories. Emphasis on light and shadow, whether it is hot midsummer or evening sunset, light and shadow is a sharp tool to capture time. My pictures have a degree of relaxation, with both a loose and relaxed "stage" (background) and fine and delicate "actors" (foreground). I like to capture the breath of life, whether it is the workers in the narrow alleys taking a break and smoking a cigarette, or the people who are lazy on the beach, or the people chatting in the park, or the people exploring in the wild forest and mountain streams, I like to record these bits and pieces.
