Artwork Description

The vastness of white can also represent freedom. For an animal often raised solely to be a form of sustenance for us - to roam freerange is often the best they can hope for. Expressing this through the painting - plenty of negative space is used, contrasting against the bright green beneath the chicken's feet - a reflection of the boundless potential this chicken has.
