I couldn’t resist this view on a recent trip to Newcastle. Rolling hills in the distance, beautiful trees and fields in the middle-ground and fennel flowers in the foreground. Completed with palette knives, this painting is filled with beautiful heavy-textured impasto work, movement and colour.

I use superior quality oil paintings, mediums and varnishes in all my paintings. I paint on 10oz cotton or poly-cotton canvas and have my paintings professionally framed in Tasmanian Oak float frames.
