Artist Bio

Rachael Charalambous is a Melbourne based artist who specialises in watercolour and acrylic paintings, with a particular focus on botanical subjects. Her love for art started young and was nurtured through formal studies during her VCE years, where she focused on art,studio production, and art theory, completing a folio on fashion design illustration.
Rachael expanded her creative skills by completing a ceramics course focused on folk art techniques, including painting on ceramic plates.She also gained practical experience working in screen printing, embroidery and hairdressers during her school holidays.
Painting remains Rachael's passion.Working from her studio she enjoys exploring new techniques and subjects, always aiming to create pieces that resonate with collectors and art enthusiasts. She actively exhibits her work and each of Rachael's artworks reflects her dedication, love and the joy she finds in the creative process.
