Feeling Fishy

‘Feeling Fishy’ is painted for kitchens that need art on bare walls. These bright fish bring character and charm to any kitchen whether modern or vintage in style.
This still life was painted in 2023 and has been in the artists private collection until now. It has brought charm and smiles to Dobson’s kitchen and will be dearly missed but is ready for the next home.

Rachael Dobson is an emerging Australian artist based in the Riverina. Dobson favours oils and predominately applies the Alla Prima technique to her portrait paintings.
Since 2014, she has been developing her skills through workshops and online professional development courses.

Dobson’s artwork often features portraiture and figures that represent aspects of the human condition, exposing true moments of human character in a world that edits, crops and blurs.
To achieve the desired effect Dobson say’s she is heavily inspired by Masters John singer Sargent and Gustav Klimt.

Dobson has had a solo exhibition in 2021, ‘Pattersons Curse’ and been featured in group exhibitions with other local artists.
