'Rise Above' was created using fluid acrylic paints and inks and pouring medium. It is a bold, colourful and uplifting painting full of movement. The warm pinks and soft blues and aqua blend organically while the shocks of deep turquoise, navy blue and metallic gold contrast. The gold is highly reflective and gleams when it catches the light. The painting is reminiscent of dramatic cloudy skies at dusk and dawn.
