Rise Up

'Rise Up' was created using a mix of fluid acrylic paints and inks, acrylic pouring medium and mica pigment powders. The pastel peach and earth tones blend organically with grey and blue to suggest a clouded sky while the contrasting deep turquoise and blue rises up like the crest of a wave. The metallic gold flashes and gleams when it catches the light. The different images of the painting show it in different lighting conditions.
