I was actually inspired by an artwork I'd seen in a New Zealand property we stayed in which was textured and done in browns. I enjoyed the serenity of it. However when I thought about horizontal lines I went to bold, strong colours, and nothing kept contained. It had it's own life. It's own interpretation. I love it.
