Artwork Description

I love this sweet, wee painting in it's gold frame. The dark greens, deep shadows and moody grays of an imaginary place. It glows with the light green of lush grass, suggesting a land of constant rain. Is is Scotland? Wales, Ireland? I don't know but I am so drawn to the colours of those landscapes.

A self taught painter, determined to just paint what makes me feel happy. Each time someone loves something that I do, I am so honoured.

Born in Australia after my parents emigrated from Scotland, I like to paint landscapes from both places. I mostly use Atelier Interactive acrylics, for their lush colours and creamy texture. I am rediscovering oils just lately.
