3 Feathers

These feathers were created using monoprinting - painting directly on perspex then printing onto paper. I used this technique to create the beautiful texture. This is an original one off collection of 3 feathers. Colourful and bright with some shimmering bronze, this would brighten any room. Framed in a soft black/brown coloured wood.

I completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts in 1994 and have exhibited in numerous exhibitions and art prizes in Sydney. My artworks are primarily focused on capturing the details of found treasures. Growing up in the Blue Mountains, I felt a strong connection with nature. Now living in the Inner West of Sydney, I am constantly trying to find ways to connect with nature in a more urban environment. Discovering, appreciating, collecting, curating and recording are some of the ways I do this.
I work primarily in acrylic, watercolour & pencil and am available for commissions.
