Artwork Description

One of my favourite leaves captured on a vibrant blue background. The textured lines in multiple colours including metallic gold and copper, contrast against the ultramarine blue. Leaf 23 explores the life force of plants and reading the veins like the wisdom and heart lines on our palms. This work would look stunning in any room.

I completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts in 1994 and have exhibited in numerous exhibitions and art prizes in Sydney. My artworks are primarily focused on capturing the details of found treasures. Growing up in the Blue Mountains, I felt a strong connection with nature. Now living in the Inner West of Sydney, I am constantly trying to find ways to connect with nature in a more urban environment. Discovering, appreciating, collecting, curating and recording are some of the ways I do this.
I work primarily in acrylic, watercolour & pencil and am available for commissions.
