Call of the Wind

My painting shows a red-tailed black cockatoo stretching its wings as if about to fly off. I photographed this majestic bird while walking through the Kensington Bushland Reserve in Perth, Western Australia. When I got home I knew I had to capture it through paint. These birds are endangered and therefore a precious species in WA.
