Artwork Description

It was the sky of Melbourne. I created the painting during the months of the lockdown. Our lives seemed to be affected dramatically due to the pandemic. But at the same time, it also appeared as our lives stayed on hold for a long time. Many of us stayed at home, doing the same things, not going out, and not seeing friends in person. While we are at home, everything seemed to stop working.
However, when I looked up at the sky through the window. Even though I did not feel like the cloud was moving through a glimpse, it slowly moved when I looked very attentively. Our lives are still moving forward, and time is still flowing. It just takes patience and hopes for us to discover the beauty of it.

Artist Bio

I am a Melbourne-based artist from Hong Kong SAR. Art has been my passion since I was young. I love to use all forms of mediums to express emotions and convey messages. I think it is important to illustrate a story even in abstract work. Art is a world of imagination, and there are no limitations. There is no nationality, gender, language barriers, nor societal boundaries.
