Artwork Description

This is a preparation study where I worked out the composition and colours for a very large canvas painting of The Grampians (Sold 2026).
It is framed by the artist, in a simple timber floating frame, you can paint or stain if you wish.

Art School at 18 and later studied Art History at Oxford University. Lived in Florence, Italy for many years where I worked as an art critic. My second home is on the Greek island of Hydra. I moved there in 1986 and married French artist Michel Le Goff, on Hydra in 1993. I currently work from a home studio in Newcastle, NSW and visit Hydra, when possible.
