Bees Knees

Bees aren't only fascinating, they're crucial to our environment and food production. I'm inspired by the growing number of people taking on the challenge of becoming beekeepers and am thinking about delving into that interesting hobby myself.

Rachel-Lee Murray is a mixed media artist based in Newcastle. A former reporter/producer for Channel Nine and later a primary school teacher, she discovered her true passion for painting and photography in the early 2000's. Rachel's other passion is travelling and her work often incorporates places she has visited and urban culture. Many of her current works reflect her love of bicycles. Rachel also enjoys painting contemporary portraits of people and pets.
