Indian Scout Bobber

I have been obsessed with the form and function of bikes for many years and photograph and sketch them wherever I travel. This commission features an Indian Scout Bobber, the pride and joy of a keen bikie.

There are several layers to this artwork. I have used historical images of the Indian motorcycle in the background.

Rachel-Lee Murray is a mixed media artist based in Newcastle. A former reporter/producer for Channel Nine and later a primary school teacher, she discovered her true passion for painting and photography in the early 2000's. Rachel's other passion is travelling and her work often incorporates places she has visited and urban culture. Many of her current works reflect her love of bicycles. Rachel also enjoys painting contemporary portraits of people and pets.
